Youth Empowerment Services:

Community Truancy Intervention Project (CTIP)
CTIP is a collaborative community based approach to addressing truancy and chronic
absenteeism. The program utilizes both natural and community supports to better strengthen the family to address truancy in Hill District schools.

Family Capacity
The Family Capacity service is an extension of the CTIP program that is designed to address intensive socioeconomic barriers for students who attend school in the Hill District. It is a highly collaborative, holistic approach to addressing multiple family stressors. Through the elimination of socioeconomic barriers, the ultimate service goal is to improve academic achievement. Community Partners include:

The Lunchbox Project
The Lunchbox Project is a community resource that provides supplemental, non-perishable food supplies for families experiencing a temporary hardship. In addition, as funds are available, classroom snacks are provided to students that attend the three Hill District schools.

Girls Circle is a workshop series designed to encourage girls to share their experiences, gain awareness of self and promote healthy choices consistent with their values, interests and talents. Girls ages 9-18 can earn gift cards for participation.
