Kayla Harris, Duquesne University Community Engagement Scholar
Kayla Harris, a Pittsburgh native, is pursuing her degree at Duquesne University with a double major in Women and Gender Studies and Psychology and a Pre-Medicine minor. While in school, Kayla is a Resident Assistant tending to freshman needs in addition to participating in multiple clubs on campus such as Strong Women Strong Girls, Union of African Students, Best Buddies, Love Your Melon, Black Student Union, Ebony Women and more! In the summer, she was a camp counselor at the Sewickley YMCA for youth who were unable to afford to have a summer camp experience.
